Ahmedabad, Sep 28 (IANS) Many police staff serving at different prisons in Gujarat on Wednesday went on a mass relaxed leave requesting a compensation climb at standard with other police faculty and State Save Police Power.

As of late, the state government had reported a Rs 250 crore bundle for other police staff and even SRP jawans, yet left out the prison police faculty.

“We were enlisted alongside police staff, have gone through a similar preparation, just our obligation is unique, it doesn’t mean we are not entitled for pay climb benefit,” the instigators said.

Rather than their exchanges across the state, it ought to be restricted to zones, similar to South Gujarat, Focal Gujarat or Saurashtra rather than move to any prison in the state, they said underlining another issue.

Prison police have threatened to gherao the state gathering and even send off a forceful development on the off chance that their requests are not met.
